Wabash Valley Musicians Hall of Fame

'Promoting fellowship and friendship among all musicians of the Wabash Valley'

Brick Piano Dedication

In 2018, local artist Mark Nicklasch came up with the idea of creating a memorial for the Hall of Fame in the form of a brick piano sculpture with a plaque paying honor to the men and women of the Wabash Valley Musicians Hall of Fame.  The idea was supported by the Vigo County Historical Society, the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce, the Hall of Fame and others who donated time, money and materials.  The piano was placed in the plaza in front of the entrance to the downtown Terre Haute parking garage at 6-1/2 Street and Wabash Avenue.  The dedication ceremony was held on Friday, October 5, 2018, with Rick Waggoner representing the Hall of Fame.  Paul Scott and the Rhythm Relics provided the music.
